History

Sehreen Noor Ali is an award-winning growth strategist who drives optimization and profitability for education businesses via client, prospect, and employee loyalty. To date, she has helped VC-backed companies and legacy institutions manage and earn over $20M through sales, strategic deals, and talent operations. Originally a business development professional, she operates more as a general manager in her acumen to manage across functions; she has been called a “Triple Threat” by a former boss for her sharp sales skills, high organizational EQ, and deep understanding of applied technology.

In addition to her “day job" work, Sehreen is the founder of EdTechWomen, whose exponential growth and service to the industry was recognized by SXSWedu with their first-ever Change Maker Award in 2015. She is a passionate advocate of educational equity and uses her deep business, media, and community networks to reach new audiences.

As a former public servant and diplomat, Sehreen ran the U.S. Department of State's Fund for Innovation, incubating and driving innovation practices to 100+ U.S. embassies and implementing education programs across the Middle East. She is as comfortable with the Prime Minister of Nepal as she is with a community organizer in rural U.S.

Sehreen speaks 5 languages, has worked in 7 countries and holds both an A.B. degree from Brown University and a Masters of Education from Harvard University.
